Ref: Invitation to Sierra Leone’s Third Annual Agrofood conference
It is with great pleasure that we invite you all to The University of Makeni (UNIMAK’s) annual conference on Agrofood production scheduled to be held in Makeni, Sierra Leone on the 20th of January 2023.
The theme of this year’s conference is: Boosting production for food security through the creation of locally informed value chains in Sierra Leone.
The purpose of the conference is to bring together professionals with relevant experience and stakeholders from the fields of food production and food security in West Africa, particularly Sierra Leone, to exchange ideas and find solutions that can benefit the nation’s food security sector.
Presentation of research supported by major donor organizations under the University of Makeni will be presented.
Additionally, a number of interactive sessions will be organized to develop solutions for the various delivery levels of intervention that are feasible in the area and involve multiple players.

Venue: Fatima Campus Auditorium of the University of Makeni (UNIMAK).
