Africell Sierra Leone Corporate Affairs Officer, Joe Abass Bangura has last Friday 28 July 2023 told journalists that since its inception in Sierra Leone in 2005 continues to break its own records as a market giant leader in the telecommunication business.

Bangura made the disclosure during the official launching of the Africell SL Mega Promotion, at company’s headquarters on No 1 Pivot Street, Wilberforce, Freetown.

He recalled that between 2005-2007, Africell SL came up with a One Billion Old Leones promotion which was won by a trader in used clothing.

Two years afterwards, Bangura narrated that another Two Billion Old Leones was also launched by Africell SL that gave Sierra Leoneans the opportunity to win a house, car and set up of farms for the lucky winners.

Today, he added, Africell SL is again launching a six months “Mega Promotion” which runs from 31 July 2023 to January 2024, for which he encouraged Africell subscribers to make good use of the opportune to win six brand new cars, twenty-four TVS motorbikes while one thousand eight hundred subscribers will also be opportune to win cash prices with the six months period totalling to Five Billion Old Leones.

Africell SL has also consented to champion the cost of licenses of the cars and motorbikes that will be mandated for lucky winners to use the said cars and motorbikes for six months to a year before they can change the colours of the cars if they so desire.

To qualify for such golden opportunity, Bangura further encouraged subscribers to recharge Ten Thousand Old Leones to have a chance for the daily live draw on Africa Young Voices (AYV) television, from Monday to Saturday at 8:00 pm, with a chance that expires mid night daily.

For citizens that are not part of the Africell SL family can also be part of the historic Mega Promotion by subscribing to an Africell SL sim and recharge Ten Thousand Old Leones to secure a chance for the daily draw.

Bangura informed that the monthly draws would go for the cars while weekly draws will be going for the TVS motor bikes. However, a daily cash win of One Hundred Thousand Old Leones form part of the promotion package.

Africell SL John Konteh told the media that Africell SL is for real bringing changes in the lives of their valuable customers. He reminded the public that 077-777-777 remains the only authorized number that will call anyone who is fortunate to win from the unbeatable “Mega Promotion.”

Speaking on issues relating to the transparency of the daily TV draws, Konteh said each lucky winner’s number will be announced in the public view, pointing out that Africell SL is on record for building dreams and changing the lives of their customers, which makes them feel good knowing the impact Africell SL has created in the lives of many.
