The Head Coach of the Sierra Leone Football Men’s team, Amadu Karim and his two assistances Coaches Francis Zappa Koroma and Alhaji Abedi Foray has signed a two-year contract with the Sierra Leone Football Association.
It could be recalled that after the Sierra Leone Football Association partway with John Keister as the Head Coach of Leone Stars, Amadu Karim had been provisionally served as the Head Coach and he has already been in charged for two crucial matches for Leone Stars.
This two years signing could see Amadu Karim and his coaching staffs responsible for leading the Leone Stars National Team to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers respectively.
According to report the signing of Coach Karim and his coaching staffs was unanimously endorsed by the Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Sport and the National Sports Authority.
Coach karim and his team have a huge task ahead of the FIFA 2026 World cup qualifiers. Sierra Leone is in Group A with Guinea-Bissau, Burkina faso, Ethiopia, Djibouti and one of the giants of Africa Football Egypt.
Sierra Leone is in fourth position with just one point after played two matches. They lost one and draw one in their Group A two matches played.
