Chinese Ambassador to Sierra Leone Wang Qing has on Tuesday 9 January 2024 visited the Consular Service Hall of the Embassy in order to inspect the consular work on the spot.
Ambassador Wang had pleasant exchanges with the Sierra Leonean applicants who were at the consular hall for visa processing interviews.
Ambassador Wang extended the season greetings to the applicants, enquired their experience in the application process, and introduced China’s visa facilitation measures such as cancellation of the online appointments for visa applications, reduction of the visa fees, and adjustment of fingerprint collection arrangements. Ambassador Wang said the Embassy, as always, would be dedicated to provide possible facilitation and assistance to visa applicants, so as to enhance and promote the exchanges and cooperation between two countries and its people. Ambassador Wang also inspected the consular team and made a request for better reception duties, to better serve the development of China-Sierra Leone relations.
The applicants said, Sierra Leonean people warmly welcome China’s latest visa facilitation measures and eagerly look forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation, which would bring more development opportunities.
