Big Apple Donate Learning to Less Privilege

The Big Wharf Community Primary School situated at Hagan Street, Mambella and Tawoponeh community primary school at Masouri, Waterloo have received teaching and learning materials from the Big Apple Foundation. The foundation which is known as one of the fastest growing organizations, is becoming a household name in helping less privilege and deserving people across the country.

 

The items, which includes books, bags, cupboards sofas, blackboards, buckets were received by the various schools’ headteachers. The Chairman of Big Apple Foundation Alusine Bangura speaking on behalf of the CEO and the foundation, stated that the organization remain positive and committed of supporting not only schools but issues of National concern.

He said the items will be of great benefits especially to kids within the lover grades and it will be of great advantage for them. He said their commitments cut across every. According to him; the foundation is a joint force of well-meaning Sierra Leoneans both at home and abroad. He disclosed that their aims and objective is to give back Sierra Leone the little they can be able to afford.

 

Idrissa S. Bangura, Deputy Head Teacher, Big Wharf Community School, thanked the organization for their selfless patriotic service to humanity. “It is great privilege to receive you people and be rest assured that the said items will be used positively. This is the kind of people Sierra Leone need and we are deeply grateful to have your kind in this country,” he said.

 

Madam Martha, who happens to be the Coordinator of the Foundation light up in her speech that the said items will help them to improve and develop their skills by providing educational necessities. The will help the kids to be focused and challenging in their learning ambition.

 

Receiving his own supply on behalf of Tawoponeh, Head Teacher Mohammed Ansu Koroma assured the team of using the items in the most profitable ways that will benefit all kids. Koroma said, such opportunity is hard to see and they cannot express their joy and thank to the entire Big Apple family.

 

Apostle Solomon Kalokoh, spoke person of the organization caution both head teachers. He said, without the necessary supply bright young minds will lack the quality of education that they need to thrive academically. Too many young people with high potential turn to destructive rather than constructive paths for themselves and their community.

 

The Apostle assured them that will not stop rendering their service to humanity and asked to keep the peace and stay focused and positive.

 

Kids gather and depart the visiting team with the national anthem and some welcoming songs.
