One of the leading candidates for the Sierra Leone People’s Party SLPP Northern American chairmanship position, Hindolo Francis Barneth has commended the ‘Food Salone’ initiative that President Julius Maada Bio launched one year ago.

“I commend the Government of Sierra Leone under the leadership of President Bio for prioritizing food security during his second term in office,” he said.

He further congratulated the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security for their great work in the ministry.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Dr. Musa Henry Kpaka, and his dedicated team for their tireless efforts in implementing this critical initiative. May their work lead to a bountiful harvest and continued progress in ensuring that no Sierra Leonean goes to bed hungry.,” he said.

He called on Sierra Leoneans in the diaspora, especially those in the North American region, to collaborate with government, local and international NGOs, to support the ‘Feed Salone’ initiative.

He called on everyone to work together grow what people feed on as a nation. “Let us work together to grow what we eat and ensure an abundance of food to curb malnutrition, particularly for children and mothers, “he said.

He called on the party to remain focus and work with the president of Sierra Leone. “As a party, let us remain focused on President Bio’s Big Five Game Changer plans, recognizing that a successful Bio Administration is our best strategy for winning the next elections. We must unite for the greater good to make Sierra Leone a great nation, worthy of living for our generation and those to come, “he stated.
