In the heart of Kailahun, the home District of the Executive Director of the National Sports Authority, Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, a moment of joy and unity unfolded during the holy month of Ramadan. The district’s SLPP executives were delighted to receive bags of rice as part of a special Iftar donation.
Abu Senesie, the district’s young generation leader, warmly welcomed the team from Freetown and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, recognizing him as one of the most productive and devoted sons of Kailahun. He praised Dr. Abdulai for always thinking of his hometown, especially for using the party structures in the district to carry out such a meaningful and generous donation.
Mr Dabor the constituency young generation leader who chaired the meeting said Dr Abdulai is not only changing the face of Sports in the country but also contributing meaningful to every other areas including, social change, education, livelihood development and entrepreneurship.
Austine Johnny, speaking on behalf of Dr. Abdulai, emphasized that the rice donation was a sign of respect and a demonstration of Dr. Abdulai’s unwavering commitment to giving back to his home district especially to the Muslim jamat. He also thanked the district executives on behalf of Dr. Abdulai for the peaceful conduct of the recent lower-level elections and encouraged other districts to emulate the peace enjoyed in Kailahun.
