Kakua Rangers Chairman Dies in Germany

The former Chairman of Kakua Rangers Alhaji Dr Sheik-Umarr Mikailu Jah has on Friday 2 August 2024 died in Germany.

Dr. Jah was a distinguished medical professional and a respected leader in Sierra Leone. He served as a Senior Surgeon Specialist at the Bo Government Hospital. He was the former Chairman of Kakua Rangers, Bo. Dr Jah was a founding member of PDDA and President of the Sierra Leone Medical and Dental Association and President of the Old Bo Boys Association (OBBA) from 2001 to 2002.

Dr Jah was the Commissioner of the National Commission for Reconstruction, Resettlement and Rehabilitation (NCRRR), now known as the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA). He also served as the Minister of Health, Minister of Works, and Resident Minister South.
