Sierra Leonean international, Mustapha Bundu has signed for English Championship club Plymouth Football club on deadline day.

The 26-year old joined Plymouth on a permanent deal from Belgian top-flight Anderlecht in a two years contract. Before signing for Plymouth, he had a loan spell to Copenhagen and return to AFC last season.

Bundu Started his football career at the Craig Bellamy football academy before moving to the United Kingdom to play for Hartpury College. He later signed for Danish Superliga club AGF after a successful trial and he developed in football and joined the senior Anderlecht side in 2020.

He made his international debut on 4 September 2019 in a game against our neighbor Liberia.

Plymouth Manager, Steven Schumacher ‘I am thrilled that we have managed to bring Mustapha to the club. He is someone we have been tracking for a long while and will bring different qualities to our forward line. Bundu is a full international for Sierra Leone and joins us from one of the biggest clubs in Belgium.

He is also experienced England, and specifically the south west before, so he will settle quickly and we look forward to seeing him run out at home park for the first time,’ he said.
