The All People’s Congress (APC) has received the shocking news about the sudden death of Comrade Henry Olufemi Macauley. He served as Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Nigeria and as former Minister of Energy under former President Ernest Bai Koroma.
Hon. Ambassador Henry Olufemi Macauley was a true servant of the state who was very committed to duty and to the cause of national development. He also played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the APC.
While the APC is deeply saddened by this irreparable loss, we express our sincere condolences to his family at home, in Nigeria and elsewhere. Specifically, we sympathize and stand with the wife, children and close family members. May the Almighty God comfort them in this difficult hour of grief.
The party’s leadership is in consultation with the late Hon. Macauley’s family regarding his funeral arrangements. Supporters, sympathisers, and the general public will be informed accordingly about the funeral arrangements of our late Comrade.
