The Regional Police Division East, in Kenema is presently investigating an alleged fraudulent conversion matter involving one woman Fatmata Sankoh of Cow Yard in Kenema. Sankoh is alleged to have on diverse occasions converted to her own good worth millions of she is reported to have collected from several business people in Kenema and beyond.
According to the Regional Police Division Media, Police Constable Musa Kallon a team of personnel led by the Regional NCO Crime, Mafinda on Wednesday 11th January 2023 acting on a tipoff arrested and brought in one Fatmata Sankoh to Kenema who has been on the run for over a year while police continue to search for her.
It could be recalled that in July 2020 the Regional Police Division recorded a report of this same Fatmata Sankoh who took over two hundred (200) bags of cement from a business woman Sallay Ngegba, sold it to one Mohamed Bah a business man along Dama Road in Kenema and ran away with the money.
According to Police investigations Fatmata Sankoh always purports to be a business woman and always make people believe that she is that kind of person but always dupes business men and women at the end
Also in February 2022, Fatmata Sankoh in her dubious act collected over Le 50m worth of cement from Bockarie Gendemeh and sold to Mohamed James Sennsei of RTI Section in Kenema and within the process of transaction she collected the money and ran away.
The Police disclosed that has been the usual habit of this Fatmata Sankoh as several reports have been received against her dubious act.
P.C. Kallon said after police investigations the matter would be charged accordingly as a lot of business people hold criminal reports against Fatmata Sankoh.
