Samuel Leverse, popularly known as DJ Lawva is reported dead at a Hospital in Freetown on Saturday morning, (14th January 2023).

This sad news sends shockwaves across the entertainment industry and the general public. The prolific DJ recently celebrated his birthday on the 12th January 2023.

Before his death, DJ Lawva was the President of the Sierra Leone DJs Union (SLeDU) and a Radio DJ and Presenter at Radio Democracy 98.1 FM in Freetown. His contributions towards the growth of the Sierra Leone entertainment industry, is huge and cannot be overemphasized. He will be missed by friends, family, entertainers and fans.
