The Sierra Leone Football Association in partnership with the West African Football Union (WAFU) ZONE OUEST A has yesterday Monday May 29 successfully completed the U20 Women’s Tournament – Sierra Leone 2023 at the newly unveiled Southern Arena in Bo City.
Sierra Leone, Senegal, Guinea and Guinea Bissau were the four nations out of the nine zonal members who competed in the maiden showpiece.
West Africa football giants, Senegal, won the championship with a peerless performance that left the over five thousand football fans at the reputable Southern Arena increasingly impressed.
The Teranga Lionesses grabbed every individual gold medal available, including Top Goal Scorer, Best Player and Best Goalkeeper.
