Freetown West Regional Police Commander Commissioner Victor Manfred Williams has disclosed the apprehending and detention of two male suspects for unlawful discharge of firearms.The duo, Michael Gibril and William Caulker, are currently in custody helping police with investigations for an alleged wounding of Tinka Kanu of 18 Lumley Road, Wilberforce, Freetown.
Commissioner Williams said the Aberdeen Division Operations Team responded to a distressed call last Tuesday 30 August 2022, after the discharge of the firearms at Sunny Side Beach Bar, Lumley, West of Freetown, where both suspects were apprehended.
He said the matter was being investigated at the Headquarters of the Criminal Investigations Department.
