As part of impacting society, United Bank for Africa (UBA) has organised National Essay Competition. Sallieu Sesay, Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications noted that the essence of such effort by UBA is to empower young Sierra Leoneans by using education. The essay topic for this competition is: “The Role of Technology in Shaping the Future of Education in Sierra Leone.” After thorough academic battle screening Thea Nyalo Davies 14 years old from Jonathan’s Childcare School Bo emerged as the winner.
