The Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO), Mohamed Alhajie Samoura, has Thursday 23 February 2023 officially welcomed a popular Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei, during a courtesy visit at the bank’s headquarters on Charlotte Street in Freetown. David is in the country to premiere a movie titled, UNPLUGGED, written and produced by one of Sierra Leone’s finest movie producers, Alimatu Farrakhan Sesay, also known as Lema’s Diary.
The UBA-SL MD/CEO encouraged David to use his platform to promote the movie industry in Sierra Leone. 
Mr. Alhajie Samoura mentioned that Sierra Leone has a lot of young talents and that movie collaborations of this nature will help showcase the potential the industry has.
David expressed his profound delight for the visit and thanked UBA-SL Chief for being one of the banks that promote young Sierra Leoneans and the movie industry.
