The School of Advanced Legal Study University of London has congratulated press freedom activist and Lecturer at the University of Sierra Leone, Lawyer Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai for successfully defending his PhD thesis entitled ” A Critical Examination of Judicial Independence as a Bastion of Rule of Law and Constitutionalism in Sierra Leone.”
Emmanuel was supervised by Professor Avrom Sherr (primary) and Professor Colin King (second supervisor).
The examiners were Professor David McQuoid-Mason (KwaZulu-Natal) and Professor Merris Amos (QMUL), with Professor David Cantor (SAS) as the independent chair.
