USL extends Online Applications

As a way to see more students enroll in the University, the University of Sierra Leone has extended the deadline of their online applications pin to Friday 22 September 2023.

The University of Sierra Leone that comprised three colleges: Fourah Bay College (FBC), the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), and the College of Medicine and Allied Health Science (COMAHS), have informed the public in a public notice dated 31 August 2023, that the deadline for obtaining the online application pins for all admissions at the USL has been extended to Friday 22 September 2023.

‘The University of Sierra Leone wishes to inform the general public that the deadline for obtaining the online application PINS for admissions into Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes at the University of Sierra Leone (FBC,IPAM, COMAHS) for the 2023/2024 session has been extended to Friday 22 September 2023,’ part of the notice stated.

It continued that the USL portal had made provision for application into the University’s e-learning Master’s Programmes in Business Administration, Journalism & Media Studies, Communications and Development Studies, and Public Relation & Marketing Communications.

The release furthered that prospective applicants can obtain application pin at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Commerce and Mortgage Bank PLB (CMB), Rokel Commercial Bank and Union Trust Bank in Freetown or any of their branches in the region at the cost of le NLe400 for undergraduate and le NLe500 for postgraduate courses all at the USL.

Prospective applicants are strongly advised to visit the University website for details for entry requirement into the various courses at USL.

The release noted that all Diploma and Certificate courses at the University of Sierra Leone are terminal programmes, and as such applicants from diploma and certificate programmes that wish to apply for the Degree programmes most fulfilled the University’s minimum entry requirement.

‘Diploma and certificate courses at the University of Sierra Leone are terminal programmes. Applicants from diploma and certificate programmes who want to apply for degree programmes must fulfill the University’s minimum entry requirement,’ the release noted.
