Before the inception of his role as Press Secretary, Jamiru was the Deputy Minister of Information and Communications. Since his resignation, many questions have been raining about to why his resignation? The reason for his resignation is not known as press time.

Nevertheless, on the side of the government, Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, has formally announced the resignation of Solomon Jamiru, the State House Press Secretary, from his tweeter page. Dr. Sengeh disclosed that Jamiru has chosen to resign to allocate additional time to his private legal practice.

Chief Minister tweeted: “Thank you to Solomon Jamiru for his service to our government over the last 6 years in several capacities. We wish Solo well as he leaves State House as Press Secretary to deepen in his private legal practice. He’ll continue to serve the party, the government, and the country.”
