Mr. Conrad Omalikeh Sackey, the Minister of MBSSE, has enthusiastically endorsed the UBA Foundation 4th National Essay Competition.

This remarkable achievement comes on the heels of the courtesy visit by Agt. MD/CEO for UBA Sierra Leone, Mohamed Alhajie Samoura today 17 October 2023, to seek the Minister’s valuable endorsement for this prestigious annual event.

Since 2020, the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Sierra Leone, in partnership with MBSSE, has been consistently organizing the National Essay Competition (NEC).

This initiative stands as a testament to UBA’s commitment to fostering education, encouraging critical thinking, enhancing writing skills, and inspiring academic excellence among Sierra Leone’s Senior Secondary School students.

The National Essay Competition (NEC) is a platform designed by UBA Foundation to encourage young minds to read more, think critically, and participate boldly in academic competitions.

It targets Senior Secondary School students and offers substantial cash prizes, which serve as UBA’s contribution to their academic journey, helping to pave the way for their future university degrees.
