The Assistant of Commissioner of Police (ACP) and also Head of Police Media, Brima Kamara has on Tuesday 17th January 2023 informed Journalist in Freetown that one thousand (1,000) police recruits will soon pass out. He said these officers are almost at the completion their Basic Recruitment Training and they are expected to pass out soon.
Media One also confirmed that the Training Department of the SLP is embarking on election specific training of personnel, noting that 14,000 Police Officers would be given such training before polling day.
