Bumpeh Gao PC Election…  NEC, Regional Commissioner South and the Provisional Secretary Petition to High Court

The just concluded Bumpeh Gao Paramount Chieftaincy election Bo District that was conducted on the 21st September 2024, which Alfred Gbandona Sovula was declared as the winner of the election has brought Court attention.

Upon the declaration of Sovula been the winner of the PC election, one aggrieved party Moses Sakpa Jibao, Gbekpa has filed in petition at the Bo High Court against NEC and the Regional Commissioner Southern Province of Electoral Commission Office Bo District and the Provisional Secretary South

The Court will determine if Sovula will be retained the position as PC or re-run if the aggrieved party presented evidence that will convince the judge.

The matter is presently at the Bo High Court waiting to see the outcome.
