The presentation took place in a warm and celebratory setting, reflecting the strong relationship that exists between the club’s leadership and its players. The atmosphere was filled with appreciation as team members gathered to honour a figure they described as central to the club’s progress and stability.

According to club representatives, the gesture was a symbol of gratitude for Chairman Navo’s consistent support and dedication over the years. They noted that his leadership has played a vital role in shaping the direction of East End Lions, both on and off the pitch.

Players also used the occasion to acknowledge the Chairman’s influence on their development, highlighting how his encouragement and commitment continue to motivate them to strive for excellence. They described the plaque as a simple but meaningful way of saying thank you for his efforts and belief in the team.

Speaking after receiving the plaque, Chairman Navo expressed deep appreciation for the recognition. He thanked the players and executives for the honour, noting that such gestures strengthen the unity within the club.

He reaffirmed his commitment to the continued growth and development of East End Lions, emphasizing the importance of discipline, teamwork and focus in achieving success. He urged the players to remain dedicated and to keep working together as they aim for greater accomplishments in Sierra Leone’s football scene.

Chairman Navo further stated that the future of the club depends on collective effort and a shared vision. He encouraged both management and players to maintain the spirit of unity that has defined the team.

The event also served as an opportunity for interaction between the Chairman and the squad, allowing for open conversation and encouragement ahead of upcoming competitions.

East End Lions Football Club remains one of the country’s historic teams, and moments like these continue to strengthen internal bonds while inspiring confidence for the future.
