The management of FC Kallon has issued a strict directive barring its players from participating in community football competitions, including inter area leagues and local galas, as part of efforts to safeguard player fitness and focus on official club commitments.

In a formal notice released by the club, the management emphasized that the decision takes immediate effect and applies to all registered players. According to the statement, the move is aimed at ensuring that players maintain peak physical condition while aligning fully with the club’s professional standards and competitive ambitions.

Under the new directive, players are only permitted to feature in recognized competitions sanctioned by the club. These include the ongoing Leone Rock Premier League 2025 2026 season and the Orange FA Cup. Any form of participation outside these competitions is now considered a breach of club policy.

Club officials noted that the increasing involvement of players in informal football activities has raised concerns about unnecessary injuries and fatigue, which could negatively affect team performance during crucial fixtures. The management believes that limiting player exposure to unregulated matches will help reduce risks and improve overall squad stability throughout the season.

“This directive is designed to protect our players and ensure that they are always in the best possible condition to represent the club,” the notice stated. “We are committed to maintaining high professional standards and achieving our strategic objectives in all official competitions.”

The club also made it clear that disciplinary measures will be strictly enforced against any player who violates the directive. Sanctions may include heavy fines, internal suspension, or further contractual penalties depending on the severity of the breach.

The decision has sparked mixed reactions among football followers and local communities where players often participate in grassroots competitions during off days. While some supporters understand the need for professionalism and player protection, others believe such restrictions could weaken community engagement and limit the players’ connection with their local fan base.

However, football analysts argue that the move reflects a growing trend among professional clubs seeking to minimize injury risks and maximize performance in competitive leagues. They point out that as the domestic game continues to develop, clubs are increasingly adopting stricter policies to match international standards.

For FC Kallon, the focus now shifts fully to their campaign in the Leone Rock Premier League and their pursuit of success in the Orange FA Cup. With the season entering a critical phase, the management hopes that the directive will help maintain squad fitness and consistency as the team aims for strong results.

Players have been urged to comply fully with the directive and prioritize their responsibilities to the club. The management reiterated that discipline and professionalism remain key pillars in the club’s vision for sustained success.
