On April 16, Ambassador Zhao Yong was interviewed by Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation(SLBC) “Talk to China” program.Ambassador Zhao answered questions on topics including China-Sierra Leone relations, the zero-tariff policy on African countries, and the “China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges.” etc..
Ambassador Zhao stated that the friendship between China and Sierra Leone has a long history, and the two countries have always respected and supported each other since the establishment of diplomatic relations 55 years ago. Now, China-Sierra Leone relations are maintaining a high level of development, and China is willing to work with Sierra Leone to deepen practical cooperation, and enhance friendly exchanges between the two peoples, with a view to uplift China-Sierra Leone relations to new heights.
“Talk to China” is a special program launched by SLBC to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sierra Leone, focusing on China and China-Sierra Leone relations.
