Executive Directors from World Bank recently toured Jojoima Government Hospital, Kailahun District, Sierra Leone. Bank funding built this key healthcare facility.

Hospital’s primary mission delivers essential care to the local community. Strong reputation turned hospital vital regional hub. Patients neighbouring Guinea and Liberia frequently cross border seeking treatment, showing international impact.

New facilities dramatically cut maternal mortality rates. Modern equipment and improved clinical environments make hospital lifeline mothers and infants across the Mano River Union region.
