The Managing Director of Rokel Commercial Bank, Walton Ekundayoh Gilpin Rokel Commercial Bank has received Climate Champion of the Year Award for his massive dedication to environmental protection and biodiversity. Presenting this prestigious award to Dr. Gilpin he expressed high appreciation and he promised more dedication in the protection of the environment.
He said: “Today, we want to thank Shout Climate Change, the Sierra Leone Meteorological Agency and the Freetown City Council for acknowledging our efforts in climate/ environmental protection.
We have derived more inspiration from this as we work harder to make our environment safer for generation to come. In another development, FOA Sierra Leone has also received the prestigious Climate Agriculture Conscious UN Agency of the Year Award.
