Twenty-five years old Foday Kamara, a driver has made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba Road court No.6 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 6th May 2023 along Cemetery Road Aberdeen the Western Area in Freetown, stole Nine Hundred New Leones (9,00) from vehicle with registration number AYT 965 property of Abubakar Conteh
When the charge was read and explained to the accused, he pleaded not guilty
The accused was unrepresented and the prosecutor Deputy Superintendent of Police, Marie Sesay informed the court that her witness is absent she seek for a short adjournment date
The application was granted Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the Male Correctional Center in Freetown matter adjourned to the 12th June 2023 for further hearing.
