According to information reach this medium, that former cabinet ministers of the last All People Congress (APC) party led administration of former president Ernest Bai Koroma will today Monday 30th January 2023, declare their support for one of the leading flag-bearer aspirants, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara at the APC National Secretariat on 11A Railway Line Brookfields in Freetown.
Sources say APC heavyweights including former ministers believe that Dr Samura Kamara is the fittest candidate to run for the standard bearer of the party will bring back smiles on the faces of Sierra Leoneans.
Madam Rahman a former Deputy Minister of Health and Sanitation of the same administration recently threw her support to Dr Samura Kamara during a well-attended meeting hosted at the APC party national headquarter in Freetown.
Speaking at the declaration of her support to the Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara candidacy for the APC flag bearer position for the approaching national delegates’ conference, Madam Rahman opined that Dr Samura Kamara is the most competent candidate to run for the June 24th 2023 elections. She added that Dr Samura Kamara is backed by the majority of the APC grassroots and is widely believed to be the most suitable APC flag bearer aspirant well positioned defeat the SLPP in June polls.
