Police in Waterloo Division have Monday 6th February 2023 arrested four suspects at drug cartels at Deep Eye Water in the Western Rural District, disclosed the Regional Police Commander Freetown East, Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Edward Samadia.
Speaking to journalist on Tuesday 7th February at the Police weekly news conference, on George Street in Freetown, AIG Samadia informed that an Operation Team from Waterloo Division moved to the scene, conducted raids at suspect drug cartels at Deep Eye Water, during which the four suspects were arrested.
He said that in the process of the raid and search the four suspects were caught in possession of huge quantity of narcotic drugs suspected to be Cannabis Sativa and kush, adding that the four suspects are helping police with investigations.
