The Lead counsel defending the fourth accused, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, Franklyn Bai Kargbo has on Wednesday 19th April 2023 told the presiding Judge that he will file application on behalf of their client for daily attendance in court.

Lawyer Kargbo made this submission at the ongoing Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) matter at the High Court N0 1. in Freetown.

According to him the frequent adjournments are affecting their client directly.

He said the daily attendance to court has caused a lot of inconvenience for their client Dr. Samura Kamara.

He told the Judge that they will be filling an application for the court to consider their client, adding that their client is a flag bearer in the fourth coming elections.

In his respond, Hon Justice Fish told the lead counsel to write the application. He added that he is going to look into it and make a ruling. He said that the court would give a level playing ground for everyone and if their application has any merit he would consider it.

In the light the prosecution has finally closed their case after recalling of Paul Bockari and Idrissa Samauty Tejan for re-crossing examination after the visit to the New York Chancery Building.

Hon. Justice Fisher Adjourned the matter to April 26th for PW1 to testify.
