It is with profound gratitude that I make this announcement as we stand at the threshold of an exciting chapter in the Life by Design journey. The past, with all its challenges and triumphs, has paved the way for an exciting transformation, and I am honoured to share with you the news of our much-anticipated re-launch.

Almost 35 years ago, a journey began that would not only change my life but also eventually touch the lives of hundreds of thousands of Sierra Leoneans. Born into circumstances that spoke of adversity, poverty, and academic hurdles, the early chapters of my life were marked by uncertainty. A divinely orchestrated encounter with a mentor ignited a spark, a realization in me that the power to shape my destiny lay within the choices I made.

From that pivotal moment, the transformation of my life began; and along with it, a deep desire to reciprocate by using the insights I had gained to empower my generation.

This started off with me delivering motivational talks in churches and radio talk shows and ultimately, to the establishment of the nationally acclaimed “Life by Design” TV show in 2011. Life by Design has racked over 900 episodes, reaching an estimated 3 million Sierra Leoneans. Its impact has ranged from energising the transformation of thousands of Sierra Leonean youth; to spearheading National Public Education Campaigns during the Ebola and COVID pandemics; and, as a statesman, mediating through a number of critical political crisis situations, including with heads of political parties in Sierra Leone’s parliament. These achievements have been recognised with several high profile national and international awards.

Following repeated calls from Sierra Leoneans for the return of the show, the “Life by Design Show” is poised to make a remarkable comeback, with broadcasts extended to social media platforms in addition to radio and TV – ensuring an even broader reach.

Our content will be mostly curated in Krio, aiming to connect with Sierra Leoneans globally. The show will continue to address themes around Life, Career and Business Mastery. Our Q&A sessions will address your pressing questions and you will have the opportunity to shape the show’s content with your feedback.

I share this news with you, with a heart full of gratitude. Grateful to God for making my life the gift and impact it has been to my generation; grateful to you for your prayers and support over the three and a half decades, and for participating in this very transformative journey, curating your own life by design, one decision at a time.

The show holds a clear mission – to continue to empower young individuals to take responsibility for creating the future they desire to experience.

I approach this new chapter with faith, enthusiasm and sincere wishes, for a brighter future for the Sierra Leonean youth.
