The Youth thought it fit to mount a campaign to curb the proliferations of ghettoes, cartels in Freetown and eliminate Kush.

In his statement, the lead campaigner, who identify himself as No.9 stated, notwithstanding the dead toll by Kush on youth, they are still consuming the drug.

As of recent, over fifty Kush addicts have died and more than one hundred of them are hospitalized with swollen feet and other body parts, No.9 disclosed.

He said he thought it feet to mobilize youth to help crackdown on any youth who is still in the habit of consuming or sell the deadly drug.

No. 9 promised to intensify the anti-Kush campaign by way of sensitizing youth about its harmful and dangerous impacts on human system.

He added that thousands of addicts are encountering worrying health conditions in the country. He therefore called on government to take drastic actions to eliminate Kush out of the country.

Those that are seriously affected by the drug will be cared for until they are fully recovered.
