The National Revenue Authority (NRA), through its Non-Tax Revenue (NTR) Department, has sealed off BBT Quarry, located at Cline Town, Freetown, over an outstanding liability of NLe 276,935.42 relating to an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Licence.
The enforcement action forms part of the NRA’s ongoing efforts to enhance compliance with statutory obligations, strengthen domestic revenue mobilization, and ensure that businesses meet their financial responsibilities to the state.
The NRA continues to encourage taxpayers and business operators to fulfil their obligations promptly to avoid enforcement measures and support the government’s national development agenda.
