Orange Sierra Leone Limited, electronics and digital cash transfer scheme has last Thursday, 9 June officially launched its Orange Money Card to customers and the General Public at the company’s headquarters on 25 Main Motor Road, Hill Station, Freetown.
On the aspect of welcome and declaration of purpose, Head of Strategy, Partnership and Marketing,
Abibatu Baxter informed that Orange Money is open to all, and even those who do not have smartphones are not exempted from using the facility.
The astute and result oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Orange Money, David S. Mansaray expressed his profound delight as Orange Money was about to unveiling their Orange Money Debit Card. He reassured audience, customers and subscribers that Orange Money Debit Card would be used to shop online, making payments. Mansaray continued that Orange Money Debit Card has taken over the mobile money world, which happens to be the very first to be launched in Sierra Leone.
Mansaray assured that their commitment to innovation is very strong and added that the card will make business easy. One could swipe his/her Orange Money Debit Card to buy fuel, and at the same time, the card will be helping with the issue of making reversals. Mistakes using the card will be limited.
The apt CEO of Orange Money concluded by re- affirming that the journey to improve their digital footprint in Sierra Leone is a continuous process, and they will remain committed to fulfilling that. David assured members present that Orange Money is for everyone and that everyone should have access to the Orange Money Card.
