Petroleum Regulatory Agency, Ministry of Environment have on Monday 12th December 2022, failed to appear before the Sub-Appropriation Committee Chaired by Hon. Salieu Osman Sesay of the main opposition All People’s Congress APC at Room Three.
The Chairman of the Sub-Appropriation Committee said Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) are in the habits of skipping to the calls to appear before the Committee to answer to questions relating to their activities and monies allocated to them by government are being spent.
He said MDAs who failed to attend Monday’s secession will be left out of the budget processing, adding that the Sierra Leone Water Company submitted its document very late without the Managing Director, who was expected to lead the team to answer to questions from the Committee. He however stood down the committee to Wednesday 14th December 2022.
