For more than two decades, the Red Dragon Youth Development Organization, alongside the Red Dragon Martial Arts Academy and Red Dragon Film Production, has remained one of the most active and impactful youth-centered institutions in Sierra Leone. The organization has made significant contributions to youth empowerment, martial arts development, film production, and community service.

Over the years, Red Dragon has continued to transform the lives of young people through discipline, structured training, mentorship, and talent development. It has become a symbol of hope and opportunity for youths seeking direction through sports, creativity, and positive community engagement.

One of the organization’s most notable humanitarian initiatives is its annual Ramadan Iftar Project, which has now been successfully implemented for five consecutive years. Through this initiative, Red Dragon provides food and support to fasting Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan, demonstrating a strong commitment to humanity, unity, and social responsibility.

In the field of combat sports and martial arts, Red Dragon continues to raise Sierra Leone’s profile. Recently, the academy participated in two major competitions and emerged victorious in both, including a Chinese martial arts tournament and the highly regarded MMA Ultimate Fighting League (UFL) in Sierra Leone. These achievements have further solidified the academy’s reputation as one of the country’s leading martial arts institutions.

The organization also played a key supporting role in a boxing match between Tommy Lee and Ginge. Tommy Lee delivered an outstanding performance, earning widespread admiration from sports enthusiasts and supporters across the nation.

Red Dragon’s management also commended the organizers of UFL Sierra Leone for their dedication to promoting martial arts and mixed martial arts competitions. According to the organization, the UFL platform has created valuable opportunities for fighters to showcase their talents, build professional careers, and promote discipline and healthy competition among young people.

Special recognition was given to Sensei Marnus, CEO and Senior Instructor of the Red Dragon Martial Arts Academy and Youth Development Organization. His dedication, leadership, and financial support have been instrumental in sustaining the organization’s activities over the years. His commitment continues to inspire both fighters and young people within the organization.

Red Dragon is calling on government institutions, private organizations, business leaders, and international partners to invest in martial arts development and youth empowerment initiatives in Sierra Leone. The organization believes that increased support will further transform lives, reduce youth violence, and help nurture future champions for the nation.

As Red Dragon continues its journey of excellence, it remains committed to building stronger youth, promoting peace and discipline, and representing Sierra Leone proudly on both national and international stages.
