From the outset, Sierra Leone demonstrated their dominance on the field, with a robust defence and a dynamic attack that kept the Central African Republic on the back foot.

The opening goal arrived in the first half, with a well-placed shot past the opposing goalkeeper, igniting cheers from the passionate crowd. The team capitalized on their momentum, doubling their lead shortly after the halftime break through another brilliant finish.

The coaching staff praised the players’ commitment and tenacity, highlighting their hard work in preparation for the tournament. “This victory is a testament to the girls’ dedication and resilience. They played with heart and displayed remarkable tactical awareness throughout the match,” said the head coach of the team.
