The United Bank for Africa (UBA) Sierra Leone Limited has been awarded the Environment Best Bank of The Year, and UBA Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director was also awarded for his support to the Environment at the 7th Environment Care Award Organised by Shout Climate Change.
According to the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communication, Sallieu Sesay, who received the award on behalf of the UBA Bank, noted that Environmental Protection is part of the bank’s four pillar of support under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS).
He furthered that UBA Foundation sponsors several skills acquisition workshops and social, tech and agriculture entrepreneurship forums that promote innovation and advancement on the countries where the bank operates.
