By ways of sharing festive seasons goodies with their customers across the country, the United Bank for Africa (UBA-SL) has last Friday 10 March 2023 officially launched their Easter – Ramadan Promotions at the bank’s headquarters on Charlotte Street in Freetown.

Rolled out with attractive offers, UBA-SL Easter-Ramadan Promotion require customers to “Receive Money Worldwide from UBA-SL branches across the country and get rewarded with exciting gift items”, the remittance promotional scheme runs from 10 March to April 21, 2023.

The UBA-SL Easter-Ramadan promotions have placed gift items for a grab by customers who receive cash from the diaspora via the highly technological driven financial service provider’s products such MoneyGram, Ria, Western Union and Africash.

Gift items including rice, cooking oil, African fabrics -lappa, wrist band and a brand-new UBA-SL keyholder are now up for grab by any customer who received from oversea through the above mentions UBA-SL products.

Officially launching the Easter – Ramadan promotions, Head of Banking UBA-SL, Victoria Olukotun disclosed that the scheme is to reach out customers and non-UBA-SL customers with the bank’s products and relate with them, whose loved ones and relatives in the diaspora send them money via any of the products.

“As the festive season is fast approaching, it is peak period during which UBA-SL always show, share love with customers and support them through their uses of the bank’s products,” she said, and informed that there are so many gift items up for grab by customers, who receive cash from the diaspora via UBA-SL products at any of the bank’s branches across the country, which can take them a long way.  The Head of Banking, UBA-SL said that their promotional gift items are at all branches.

Madam Victoria Olukotun lauded the efforts of staff especially those of the Marketing and Corporate Communication Department and the Remittance Section for their roles in rolling out the scheme.

Head of Remittance UBA-SL Mohamed Jabbie said the Ramadan and Easter seasons during which customers receive cash from their relatives in the diaspora.

He explained that whenever customers receive cash via any of UBA-SL products they should go the any UBA-SL branch with the code the bank will help them get the money with a specific gift item.
