Freetown, September 23, 2026 (SLENA)-Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh joined Saudi Arabian community members anthe d diplomatic in corps celebrating Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 96th National Day at Radisson Blu Hotel Freetown, serving as Guest Honour.
Occasion brought government officials, diplomats and guests celebrating longstanding Sierra Leone-Saudi Arabia friendship. Gathering highlighted growing bilateral cooperation trade, investment, humanitarian assistance, education and religious affairs.
Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador Sierra Leone Suad Al Musaed highlighted Kingdom’s growing support including healthcare, humanitarian programmes, education and religious affairs assistance.
Speaking behalf President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, Government and Sierra Leone people, Vice President Juldeh Jalloh pointed ongoing bilateral initiatives, noting “productive and sensible investments create trade and economic opportunities” both countries.
Deputy Minister Foreign Affairs Madam Jeneba Bangura congratulated Saudi Arabian leadership and people occasion, commending Kingdom’s development and humanitarian support Sierra Leone.
She said country welcomed greater Saudi investment, particularly agriculture, mining, renewable energy, infrastructure, touris,m and human capital development.
