One of Sierra Leone’s finest singers, Famous, has stirred public debate after stating during an interview on Epic Radio that he played a key role in bringing attention to a song by fellow artist Kao Denero.

Speaking candidly, Famous claimed that his influence contributed to the increased awareness and conversation around the track. His remarks quickly sparked reactions among fans, particularly supporters of the Black Leo camp, who questioned his assertion and revisited past tensions between the two artists.

The history between Famous and Kao Denero has been marked by controversy. It can be recalled that the two were previously involved in a court case after Famous alleged that a member of Kao Denero’s camp sprayed him with pepper spray during an altercation. The incident led Famous to pursue legal action, a move that drew widespread attention within the entertainment industry and among fans.

Following his recent comments, some Black Leo supporters reacted strongly, especially after Famous addressed claims surrounding the outcome of the court case. There had been speculation that the matter was resolved with a payment of five thousand dollars, but Famous dismissed this narrative, stating that the case did not conclude in that manner.

Clarifying his position, Famous emphasized that his decision to go to court was not driven by fear of Kao Denero or his team. Instead, he explained that his actions were meant to stand against intimidation and to set a precedent that such behavior should not be tolerated within the industry or society at large.

“I did not go to court because I was afraid,” he said during the interview. “I did it because people should not intimidate others and think they can get away with it.”

His statement has since fueled conversations on social media, with fans and observers sharing mixed opinions. While some have supported Famous for taking a stand and speaking openly, others believe his claims regarding the song’s popularity may be overstated.

The latest development adds another layer to the ongoing rivalry and discourse between the two camps, highlighting the complex dynamics within Sierra Leone’s music scene. As reactions continue to pour in, many are watching closely to see whether Kao Denero or members of his team will respond to Famous’ latest remarks.
