The management of Afrimoney Sierra Leone has Wednesday 1st March 2023 said that the integration of Afrimoney services is bridging gaps in demand and supply.

The observation was made by the Managing Director Afrimoney Sierra Leone, Martison Obeng Agyei whiles addressing a news conference hosted to mark the official signing of a partnership with the mobile electronic cash transfer scheme and Masada Waste Management Company Sierra Leone Limited, at Africell Sierra Leone headquarters Wilberforce in Freetown.

Obeng Agyei described Masada Waste Management Company SL Ltd. as a household name who has been in the country with garbage collection services to private and public institutions since 2013.

He reassured both his company and Masada Waste Management Company SL Ltd. customers of Afriomney’s high quality technological payment service which will always be at the disposal of the waste management company round the clock to facilitate transactions as and when necessary. He thus registered his company’s firm commitments in ensuring safe and secured transactions without failure.

For the effectiveness of payment channel, Obeng Agyei reassured that Afrimoney can deliver the service to customers wherever they are. He said Afrimoney is always set to ensure that the partnership work on a twenty-four (24) hours basis to enhance businesses in the country as long customers’ phones are fully loaded with cash. With that he reiterated that customers can be able to settle their bills via Afrimoney with Masada.

Welcoming their new partners, Afrimoney Corporate Sales Manager, Alfred Joseph Lavalie informed that clients of Masada SL Ltd. should now start making garbage bill payments via Afrimoney. He said his company is supportive of businesses in the society.

Lavalie thanked the management of Masada saying that Afrimoney’s partnership with the waste management company will yield success in society. He expressed delight for the signing of the partnership and wishes both parties the very best in their diverse ventures.  

On behalf of the management of Masada Waste Management Company SL Ltd. Sahr Dauda Karku informed that his company has been in the country since 2012. Karku said that services provided by Masada go along with bins as properties of the company, noting that his company collect garbage once a week and four times a month.

He expressed hope that Masada bills payments will now be made via Afrimoney, adding that the new partnership with Afrimoney will further alleviate problems that were associated with modes of payments. Karku recalled that Masada SL Ltd. has been having challenges with cash handlings, hence commended the new partnership with Afrimoney.

Event Manager and Sponsorship, Nancy L. Toure encouraged customers to subscribed to Afrimoney. She informed that Afrimoney is always ready to ensure that they make life easy and comfortable for their customers across the country and even beyond, which is why they decided to partner with Masada Waste Management Company SL Ltd like they have been getting along with other companies.

In furtherance to facilitate electronic transactions and cash transfer vial mobile money, Afrimoney signed strong partnerships with PowerGen, Easy Solar, PeySend, Ezipay and other in 2022, as well as financial service institutions such as banks.
