Former Marie Stopes Country Director in Sierra Leone, Dr. Ufuoma Festus Omo-Obi has on Thursday 2^nd March 2023 paid a courtesy call on the management and staff of AfriRadio.  During his courtesy visit Dr. Ufuoma Festus Omo-Obi met with AfriRadio’s indefatigable Station Manager, Abdul Karim Sesay and expressed his profound delight to meet with him.

In response, AfriRadio undoubtedly being one of Sierra Leone’s number one radio stations, the team was as well happy to host the medical charity Chief.

Speaking during their brief discussion Dr. Ufuoma Festus Omo-Obi said; “Great to see and celebrate Abdul’s leadership and the many great things, he and his team are doing for Salone’s health and social services sector. We are proud of your growth Dude, and the impacts. When you serve, you grow. While we celebrate Salone’s reduction in MMR”.

He said media and folks like Abdul and Africell Radio played their incredible parts in advancing social mobilization, health promotion, and behaviour change communication in collaboration with partners and NGOs 100% free of cost.

With the media, you can do great and incredible things and advance development outcomes that reaches each household one at a time.
